Our Philosophy
We believe that women are transformative leaders. Those from diverse and historically marginalized backgrounds bring essential perspectives that drive inclusive policies, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and lasting peace.
The Colmena Fund is committed to breaking down systemic barriers and ensuring that women political leaders who champion democracy and human rights have the resources and support needed to thrive in office and create lasting impact.
We aim to build a sustainable funding model that effectively directs resources where they are needed most—empowering women leaders, strengthening democratic movements, and fostering more inclusive and equitable governance worldwide.

Our Vision
We see a world where diverse women political leaders are the norm, building societies that are democratic, racially and gender just.
